Recipe: Yogurt Parfait

Yogurt Parfaits can be a healthy breakfast or afternoon snack to keep you fueled all day long.
Parfaits originated in France as a layered custard dessert. Today in the United States, we’ve put a spin on this tasty treat by using yogurt instead of custard. Yogurt parfaits are a healthier version of this French dessert that can really be customized based off of the creator. Yogurt parfaits really consist of three main ingredients; yogurt, toppings, and sweeteners which make it easy to incorporate on any menu.
We made our yogurt parfait using Tea Zone® purée. Purée is a great product to use for creating yogurt parfaits because it combines your fruit and sweetener you’d need to make the parfait. Purées have a thicker consistency so it won’t combine with yogurt and will easily layer to give you that traditional parfait look.
